Dressing Up

I am going to tell you a secret, OK? After my very special post on Dress-up Games, I never played them again because I thought they were boring. Yes, I know, not my finest moment. Having been forced to reconsider my position, this post is for all the people who think the same I once thought.

The first non-boring dress-up game that I found is Naruto Dress Up. Mind you, I was not looking for a dress-up game, it just crossed my path while I was looking for something cool to review. As a big fan of the manga, I spent hours playing it, making all the changes that I could. You have no idea how funny it can be: imagine, for example, Naruto with Sakura’s clothes! You can also make them look like Ambus Elite, or just make a mix between their old and their new clothes. If you like Naruto, then you will enjoy this game a lot. And if don’t, you still have to play it: I promise you will like it.

Pikachu Dress Up is another great example of dress-up games that are not boring, not at all. All the times that I think of Pikachu, I remember something that always caught my attention: Pikachu never changes, and, on top of that, he never learns new great or cool attacks! Have you realized that? (in my defense, I will say that I have not seen the last Pokemon Sagas). So, here is your opportunity to change our yellow buddy. You cannot force an evolution or an improvement of techniques – which would be awesome – but at you can change the appearance. And by the way, is it a he or a she???

The real surprise of the day was Wolverine Customization, which is like a dream come true to me, because Wolverine was my favorite X-Men when I was a kid and the thing why he stopped being my favorite is… his clothes. Have you seen him? Yellow and blue spandex? Seriously? Come on, super heroes are supposed to be cool, and there is no way to be cool on those clothes. So, the fact that I could change his clothes made my love for him to come back, and the best part of the game is that you can change not only his clothes and accessories, but also the stage. You can put him in the snow, or fighting with and enemy, or just training. Yes, thank you Marvel for X-men, and thank you whoever developed this game for making one kid’s dream come true.

The last game of the day has nothing to do with manga, anime or comics, but when I saw it I just had to play it. The name? Emo Love. Yes an emo dress up game, and let me tell you that – much to my surprise – this was my favorite game of the day. As you can imagine, the point of the game is simply to dress up a boy and a girl. But really, the combinations, the clothes, are just great. I really enjoy playing it, and I hope you do too. Now, if you excuse me, I think I am going to buy some clothes like those.
