Shooting Nightmares
There are certain games that you should never always play when you are alone in your house in a dark night, while it is raining outside. Try the following, and you will know exactly what I am talking about.
The first game arrives with a promising title: 13 More Days in Hell. Apparently, during your stay there, you have to complete certain missions – one each day. The first one is, for example, killing twenty souls. Pretty creepy, huh? In the mean time you also have to collect rings and, well, do the usual. There are different guns to be found, also, as well as money that will allow you to buy bullets, and health packs. As regards this game, the best advice I can give you is: even if you have already achieved your goal and found the exit door, stay a little more and explore all the limits of the map, because there are interesting and useful things to be discovered. Just that. Oh, and one more thing: Stay awake! This may not be Dante’s Inferno, but it *is* HELL!

Game number two is proof that the Shooting Games section is on fire today. Phantom Sniper may not be as exciting as 13 Days…, but it is much more strategic. The story begins when your avatar decides to quit the Kenzu Army, a group of rebels struggling to take control of Japan. As payback for leaving them, they kill all his family. Blinded by anger then, he joins the government to get back at them. There are a lot of different missions that you must complete, and you will have to think before pulling the trigger, because, as a sniper, part of your job is not being detected by the enemy. If there comes a time when you don’t know what to do, remember this: Use all the things that you see on the screen, even the stage.
Well, I’m pretty sure that when you were kids you spent many afternoons outside playing cowboys. It’s OK, we all did… I still keep my toy gun somewhere in a drawer, as a souvenir of my childhood. So, as a celebration of those days full of fantasy, heroes, horses and cowboys, we have this far west themed game: Cowboys. Just like the main character in one of those old movies, you’re surrounded. You have no other choice but to kill everyone outside in order to survive. Do you think you can?
Now, here is a great way to end the day. The last game is One vs. Many, although I personally think that it should be called “One vs. Everybody”. It is amazing how enemies come from all sides and you are cornered, without being able to catch a break. If you want to win or at least survive, you will have to use all your skills, shoot lots of bullets, plant mines, and move as fast as possible.
