Puzzles at Service

As games go by, you often need to put a little more effort in order to win. That is particularly the case of puzzle games: developers seem pretty invested in making them as complex as possible. Electric Box is a great example of that, similar to other puzzle games that have already been reviewed. Basically, you get certain items that you must use in order to complete the mission: ensuring that the energy gets from the main power supply to the target for electrical current. As usual, the game gets more interesting and entertaining (which is just a euphemism for difficult, you know) as you complete levels. If see yourself as a smart person, definitely you have to play this game.

Whenever I think of Hulk, I imagine Bruce Banner saying “don’t make me angry, ‘cuz you won’t like me when I’m angry”- in a bad-boy voice, of course -, or a big green monster destroying everything in his way – with bad-boy face, of course. What I never imagined, however, is Hulk having anything to do with numbers. But here we go: Hulk Find the Numbers, in which you must find all the numbers hidden in the hulk-picture, but watch out, some of them are really difficult to spot (yes, I know; with that title it was pretty obvious that the game has to do with finding numbers, and it’s not supposed to be easy). For each accurate click your score is increased, and for each wrong click your score is reduced. Now, let’s see how YOU get angry… at the numbers!

The third game of the day has to do with the famous Rubik’s cube: 3D Rubik’s Cube 2. There is not much to say about the game itself, right? About a month ago, a friend sat with me and explained how to get the cube solved… and then I forgot. I still can get to the second step, which has to count for something, Right? It’s a great game, definitely worth a try. In any case, if you haven’t been able to solve it after a while, you can always try a YouTube search on “how to solve Rubik’s cube”. Then you can practice a lot using this flash game, and finally get crowned as Jedi of the cube, or something…

Lastly, there is Poppit Stress Buster, the kind of game that people should practice in real life. Developers were on the edge of a nervous breakdown, apparently, and decided that popping balloons was the best option to reduce stress. On that vein, your job is to pop them in groups of two or more of the same color. Then again, you have to be smart and choose well the balloons, otherwise you may end up being able to pop only a few, and you won’t reach the following level. Play it, and become stress-free for the day.
