The Top Four Racing Games At BGames.com
When people get lost while driving and they cannot (or will not) pull over and ask for directions, most of them start going the same way as the majority of cars, hoping it will lead them to safer, better roads (or, why not, well-known highways). This is probably a tendency most people share, following the crowd. “Eat grass; millions of cows cannot be wrong”, goes the old saying, and it may work wonders — or it may not work at all.
As regards games, “following the crowd” equals to trying the most played, which is actually a good strategy. That was the line of reasoning that set me out to investigate the most played racing games at BGames.com. Results were surprisingly satisfying.
Park Your Ride LV was at the top of the list, which struck me as odd because there is no “racing” in “parking”, right? Well, that is basically the whole point of this game: you are supposed to park an indefinite number of cars in different places, without crashing them. Easy, don’t you think? The problem is, crashing is a definite possibility here, because these cars can go pretty fast, if you let them. The task requires a lot of patience and precision. No piece of cake.

Stunt Bike Deluxe was second. This game allows you to compete using either a motorbike or an ATV (a quad), tilting or leaning, in order to go over a series of obstacles as the level of difficulty increases with each level. I tried the motorbike first, only to find that, just as it is in real life, the high level of balance that the task requires is better achieved with a quad. Pretty impressive, for a game.

Then I tried Crazy Mustang, for which the picture pretty much says all. The game turned out to be quite similar to the previous one, except that it featured a Mustang with monster truck wheels instead of a bike or a quad. The premise is similar, and controls are the same, but you can actually make your car blow up if you don’t drive it right. Let us call that an extra motivation for a good performance!
However, after trying these top three racing games, I was yet to experience a real game race. That was easily covered by FFX Racing. The game is pretty basic in that you cannot even chose the color of your car, but the action in itself is pretty amazing. Graphics are good, and these cars move really fast. The long track is mostly paved – except when it’s not, and the car moves slower, accordingly – and offers some shortcuts to make things easier for us. Settings change throughout the race, resulting in a fun and challenging experience, something really worth your time.
Therefore, these four games offer plenty of fun in different, varied ways. After all, they are the top four most played racing games; there surely is a reason why people pick them over the rest.
